CATIE remembers Joanne Lindsay

All of us at CATIE were heartbroken to learn of the passing of Joanne Lindsay, a dedicated member of our board of directors. We extend our condolences to Joanne’s loved ones.

Joanne has not only served as a member of CATIE’s board of directors since 2017, but has also served as our treasurer for five years. Beyond ensuring the financial health and long-term stability of our organization, Joanne has always been an active participant in strategic discussions and ensured that the perspectives of women living with HIV were always at the forefront of our decision-making.

CATIE was proud to support Joanne’s nomination for a Red Ribbon Award, which she received from the Canadian Association for HIV Research earlier this year. In our letter of support, we noted that Joanne’s commitment to the movement is unquestionable; she shows up and speaks out.

On behalf of CATIE’s staff and board of directors, we would like to express our gratitude for Joanne’s contributions and our love to her family and friends.
