This information session explores the efficacy of doxyPrEP (doxycycline pre-exposure prophylaxis) and doxyPEP (doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis) as biomedical prevention strategies for reducing the impact of syphilis, which has been on the rise for many years. It also covers current syphilis trends in Canada, as well as transmission routes, symptoms, risk factors and treatment options. 

Drawing from his experience in risk assessment, STI testing and prescribing doxyPrEP and doxyPEP, Dr. Sean Yaphé will present key findings and provide an interactive Q&A session. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics in greater depth and share their insights.
