Mobilizing PrEP among African, Caribbean and Black communities
This is the third webinar in a series delivered in partnership with the African and Caribbean Council on HIV/AIDS in Ontario (ACCHO), Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP) and Africans in Partnership Against AIDS (APAA).

Join us for a curated panel discussion on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) uptake in African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) communities. Experts explore systemic barriers to PrEP access, as well as opportunities and considerations for ACB-led outreach, education and programming. Participants gain valuable insights into strategies for raising PrEP awareness among clients at increased systemic risk of HIV and ACB-led efforts to mobilize PrEP as an HIV prevention tool.
This session highlights diverse approaches to improving PrEP uptake among ACB communities, including heterosexual men and women, as well as gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men. It also examines how to build and support culturally competent HIV programming tailored to ACB communities while exploring collaborative solutions to closing gaps in HIV prevention.
