The Inequities Driving the HIV Epidemic

HIV can affect anyone, but some communities experience a variety of health inequities due to structural and social factors, including an increased risk of HIV and poorer HIV health-related outcomes.  

This video illustrates how structural and social factors can lead to HIV health inequities among some populations in Canada. It also looks at the critical role played by people in communities affected by HIV in understanding and communicating HIV health inequities and in developing effective responses to HIV.
