Do I need a transplant?

Keep in mind that liver transplants are expensive, few organs are available and transplants are not always successful. Candidates must meet very strict criteria to qualify for a transplant. Many factors are considered, including your age, whether you smoke and your alcohol consumption. You will only know if you need a transplant after talking to your healthcare provider.
